Piling Work

Pile Driving, Sleeving & Restoration in Washington State

Professional Pile Driving on Lake Washington & Lake Sammamish

Our barges are specifically fitted with the most accurate piling driving equipment to offer the best positioning possible. Our years of experience in professional pile driving projects are a large part of how we ensure to deliver you the best looking dock building results.

We have barges on Lake Washington and Lake Sammamish setup for pile driving. However, if your dock is on a rural smaller lake, we have other proven methods to drive new piles to suit your needs. The preferred type of replacement pilings in today’s environmental climate are steel pilings.  In most cases we drive bare steel, hot dipped galvanized pilings where permitted for long life. But we have experience working with a variety of otherpiling materials.

Custom Pile Sleeving & Restoration

We've found that most existing deteriorated pilings can be permanently restored with our proven extremely long lasting sleeving method. The upper section of the pile will be removed and a high-densitypolyethylene (HDPE) tube will be fitted in place. The tube extends from the lakebed to the support beam underneath the dock. It is then reinforced with a rebar fitting and filled with concrete.

This repair method is very attractive, environmentally friendly, and will last for decades. The remainder of the dock will be rebuilt with ACZA "Chemonite" treated lumber and agency approved decking material. The new structure will become a safe, user-friendly, long lasting, and very attractive feature of the property.
